NO COST CLINICS
Operation Catnip
– Conducts a no-cost spay/neuter clinic on the third
Sunday of each month for feral and stray cats. Cats seen at the
clinic are sterilized and receive a physical examination, routine
vaccinations, and Frontline flea/tick treatment. Each cat has its left
ear permanently cropped to identify it as an altered cat. Reservations
are required and traps are available for purposes of humane trapping and
transporting cats to/from the clinic. For more information:

PetFix Coalition
- Conducts a
no-cost spay/neuter clinic on the Second 2 Mondays of each month
for feral and stray cats and dogs; the clinic is held at the
Richmond SPCA. Cats seen at the clinic are sterilized and receive a
rabies vaccination. Additional vaccinations can be obtained but there is
a fee. Each cat has its left ear permanently cropped to identify it as an
altered cat. Reservations are required. For more information:

Pets and
Ferals Richmond SPCA - The Richmond SPCA provides free surgeries to area residents (living in the City of Richmond, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico and Goochland) on government assistance, households with an annual income less than $30,000, full-time college students, owners of pit bulls (and strong pit bull mixes) and feral cat caregivers. Rabies vaccinations are included. Reservations are required; the RSPCA does have traps to loan.
